Today on Take the Black, we break down the new Spider-Man trailer, talk hopes for Dune (and Dune Part 2), go over the plot of The Matrix 4, and more stuff.

Another week, another new episode of Take the Black, the show where myself and Mia Johnson of Dork Side of the Force talk all things movies, TV, fantasy and sci-fi. We have a full dance card today, so let’s hit the floor:

Of course, we have to talk about the new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home that’s currently breaking the internet. Will this movie be everything fans need or a nostalgia fest…or both?

Beyond that, it’s more sequel talk as we tackle the strange case of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movie, and the franchise that may or may not spring from it. Finally, we have the first plot details (and title) of the fourth Matrix movie, and there are some head-scratchers in there.

Oh, and congratulations to Game of Thrones veteran Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) for landing the lead role in AMC’s Interview With the Vampire series!
