The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding in a big way on November 5 when the highly anticipated Eternals hits theaters. The movie is about a group of immortal, extraterrestrial beings who have watched over Earth for thousands of years, and we’re excited to see what they have in store.
Funko has just released a new line of Pop! figurines featuring all the film’s main characters. If you don’t know them or their powers that well, these toys can help. Empath Sersi (Gemma Chan) and the powerful Ikaris (Richard Madden) are in a love triangle with human Dane Whitman (Kit Harrington). Many characters use cosmic energy, like Ikaris, who can shoot laser beams out of his eyes. Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) uses such energy to make objects with his hands, while Thena (Angelina Jolie) uses it to create weapons. Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) also makes weapons and is an inventor.
Other Eternals have more common superpowers, like speedy Makkari (Lauren Ridloff), mind manipulator Druig (Barry Keoghan), and strong Gilgamesh (Don Lee). The young-looking Sprite (Lia McHugh) may remind fans of Loki because her power is to project illusions, and she is known for being a jokester.
Lastly, Ajak (Salma Hayek) has a very particular set of skills. As the leader of the Eternals, she can heal people but also provides a connection between her group and the Celestials, who created the Eternals long ago. We met one Celestial in the form of Ego, Peter Quill’s father, in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Opposed to the Eternals are the Deviants. Included in the Funko lineup are Deviants Kro, a general, and Arishem the Judge, so you can act out battle scenes. All of these characters are featured in the Funko Pop! collection and many are currently $2 off on Amazon.
Pre-order all the Eternals Funko Pop! figurines before the movie premieres in theaters on November 5, and check out other Marvel movies and shows on Disney+.
