Even though it’s only September, LEGO is getting ready for the upcoming 2021 holiday season by releasing new Advent calendars. Fans of Marvel and the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises now have a chance to build their way through December, one block at a time.
Each LEGO Advent calendar puts a wintery spin on your favorite universe and comes with miniature figurines based on popular characters. Inspired by the second season of The Mandalorian, the Star Wars set features buildable versions of the titular Mandalorian and Baby Yoda, both of which are dressed in fun, festive outfits to mark the holiday season. This 335-piece kit also offers two droid figures and 11 mini-builds of well-known spacecraft from the show, including The Razor Crest, an Imperial light cruiser, and others.
For Potterheads, the Harry Potter Advent calendar gives you the chance to recreate Harry’s journey from Privet Drive to Hogwarts. This 274-piece set comes with tiny models of some of your favorite Gryffindors, including Harry, Ron and Hermione. You can also get mini-figures of Draco, Dudley Dursley, and the dwarf Griphook in this kit, plus other adorable accessories.
Avengers fans have a reason to smile, too. The Marvel Advent calendar offers 24 days of superhero adventures in the lead-up to Christmas. This 298-piece kit features LEGO miniatures of Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, and other popular characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can also build cool accessories like a Quinjet, Spider-Man drone and more. You might even get an Infinity Stone along the way, if you’re patient.
