Netflix announced that it was making a series based on The Chronicles of Narnia a while ago, but we’ve heard almost nothing since. Fans pick up the slack.

Three years ago, Netflix announced that it was making TV shows and movies based on C.S. Lewis’ beloved book series The Chronicles of Narnia. Last we heard, the project was still in development, but it’s been a very long time since we’ve heard anything substantive.

Is the project dead? Maybe, but there have been other long-gestating Netflix series that sprung into sudden life at unexpected moments — the live-action remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender is one such example. But while we wait for that, fans are creating their own posters for this theoretical Narnia show. Let’s take a look.

The Magician’s Nephew is one of the later Narnia books published, but it’s the earliest book in the timeline, telling the story of the death of one world and the beginning of the magical land of Narnia.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is by far the best-known story from The Chronicles of Narnia. It’s been adapted as a movie before, but Netflix could put its own stamp on it.

The Voyage of the Dawn Trader is one of the better Narnia books, telling a story of adventure on the high seas.

The Horse and His Boy is something of a Narnia side story that involves mostly new characters, although some familiar ones do make cameo appearances.

Are these giving you any ideas, Netflix?
