Fear the Walking Dead season 7: Release date, cast, trailer and more

After an explosive end to Fear the Walking Dead season 6, fans have been left wondering who made it out of the nuclear apocalypse alive. The entire landscape has been transformed into a fallout-ridden mess, where the air is more dangerous than the walkers that managed to survive. Here’s what we know about Fear the Walking Dead season 7.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7 release date

Fear TWD season 7 will premiere on Sunday, October 17, at 9:00 p.m. EST/PST on AMC. Fans who subscribe to AMC+ will be able to watch new episodes of the show a week early, so subscribers can catch the season premiere in the early morning hours of October 10.

Based on teasers for the upcoming season, many of the characters from season 6 survived and will appear in season 7. They include Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia Clark), Colman Domingo (Victor Strand), Ruben Blades (Daniel Salazar), Danay Garcia (Luciana), Jenna Elfman (June), Maggie Grace (Althea), Karen David (Grace), Mo Collins (Sarah), Alexa Nisenson (Charlie), Austin Amelio (Dwight), Christine Evangelista (Sherry), Colby Hollman (Wes), Peter Jacobson (Rabbi Jacob), Keith Carradine (John Dorie Sr.) and Omid Abtahi (Howard).

Joining the cast in season 7 are Gus Halper and Sydney Lemmon, who reprises her role as CRM helicopter pilot Isabelle.

The teasers have left no doubt that at least one of the missiles from the U.S.S. Pennsylvania was armed with a nuclear warhead, so the trick to survival in season 7 is being able to get outside and find food and resources. The fallout is far-reaching, so the survivors who managed to get far away from the blast have the greatest chance of survival, but what about everyone else?
