Star Wars has many new TV series and movies in the works, but we’re not satisfied. Here are 10 more Star Wars projects Disney needs to make.

There’s been nothing but brand new Star Wars content in our galaxy since Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012. And with Lucasfilm’s loaded lineup of Star Wars projects, we’ll probably never experience a lull in the fandom the way we did in the past between each of the trilogies.

Disney declared that Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker would be the end of the Skywalker saga. But by no means does that mean it was the end of Star Wars. In fact, the end of the Skywalker saga was more like a launching point. Because in December 2020, Disney went all out in unveiling a slew of new Star Wars projects they had in the works.

The Mandalorian was just the first of those projects. And we’ll be getting an entire Mandalorian universe with shows like The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka.

Outside of The Mandalorian-verse, we have the upcoming shows Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi, both slated for a 2022 release. And topping off the live-action television show announcements, there’s also a Lando series and The Acolyte. Add that on top of the planned Star Wars movies from Patty Jenkins, Taika Waititi and Kevin Feige, and we’ve got plenty of live-action content to look forward to. And we haven’t even begun to mention the other animated series and projects that Disney+ has planned.

But still, deep down in our hearts, like Kylo Ren on Crait, we’re screaming “More!” Star Wars has such a diverse range of characters and stories, and they all feel like they deserve a project of their own. What becomes of Finn after The Rise of Skywalker? What if Ben Solo lived? Could Darth Revan become canon?

If you’ve still got space in your heart for a few more Star Wars projects, here are 10 additional ones we wish Lucasfilm would make real.

1. Ben Solo movie trilogy

Okay, bear with us. Yes, Ben Solo (aka, Kylo Ren) technically died at the end of Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, but there is a wild rumor out there that says a new movie trilogy could be coming that focuses on the events after that… and Ben Solo would be the lead character in this series.

And with Ben Solo back in the mix, Adam Driver would allegedly return to reprise his role. This rumor comes from The Den Of Nerds (via LRM). But hey, wouldn’t it be something to learn that Ben Solo indeed survived or found a way to come back? As all Star Wars fans know, no one is ever truly gone. And at this rate, there are just about 101 ways to bring a Star Wars character back from the grave.

But let’s focus on Ben Solo, who would be a fascinating character to feature in a post-Episode IX world. So far, we really don’t have much knowledge about what has happened to the galaxy after the First Order was brought down. We’re assuming there’s a New New Republic put in place. And also, probably a failsafe to make sure the galaxy never returns to a state of total supremacy again. (“Fool me once,” am I right?) But it would also be awesome to see Ben Solo, for example, follow in the footsteps of his mother and grandmother and become a diplomat.

Perhaps the Senate would be mistrustful of someone who was once the Supreme Leader, but he can atone, right? Not only that, but there’s some unfinished business he has with a certain character that we think Reylos would be pleased to get closure on. There’s no Ben without Rey. And so I’d expect a Ben Solo trilogy would still have to keep Rey close at hand, just like in the sequel films.
