The Wheel of Time TV series first episode date
By Mia Johnson
Amazon Prime Video is bringing us what can potentially be one of the best fantasy shows in TV history: The Wheel of Time.
The series is based on Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy book series, and fans have been extra excited for the series to premiere ever since the announcement was made back in 2018. Now, just about three years later and the series is finally ready to premiere on Amazon Prime. And of course, the streaming platform is kicking things up when it comes to promoting the series.
For example, we recently got an amazing trailer for The Wheel of Time. In it, we see Rosamund Pike as the iconic character Moiraine. And she’s joined by many others in some exciting and action-packed scenes, showing off just how much work Amazon has put into creating this series.
If the trailer and all the other promotion for this have you hyped, you’re likely wondering when the series will finally premiere. Here’s what we know.
The Wheel of Time premiere date
The first episode of The Wheel of Time TV series will premiere on Nov. 19, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video. And since we’ve been waiting long, the good news is that not one but three episodes will premiere on that day.
There are eight episodes total in the series. And every following episode will release on Fridays until its Dec. 24’s finale. A Wheel of Time season 1 finale probably wasn’t the Christmas gift everyone was expecting this year, but it’s an exciting surprise for sure.
Lastly, the final gift that comes with this news is that The Wheel of Time has already been renewed for a season 2. This was revealed in May 2021, while season 1 for the series was just wrapping up filming. So, the countdown to The Wheel of Time is drawing nearer to the end, and we can’t help but be excited for this fantasy series to debut later this year.
