8. Whatever happened to Madison Clark?

This is a question that seems to pop up constantly during every episode of every season since Madison’s (Kim Dickens) departure from Fear The Walking Dead. It’s entirely possible that Madison is simply dead; when we last saw her in season 4 she was trapped in a burning stadium surrounded by walkers. But she’s a survivor and fans refuse to believe she’s gone.

Even Fear The Walking Dead showrunner Ian Goldberg has teased her return, revealing that there may be plans to include her in the show beyond her “death” scene. “What we have planned beyond that, we’ll see. That’s pretty much as much as I can really say about it.”

And if you think that sounds ominous, here’s what co-showrunner Andrew Chambliss had to say more recently: “Never give up,” he told Insider. “But, if we had an answer to a Madison question, do you think we would really give you the answer?”

We’ve yet to see any hints in the show that Madison is still out there. You would think she would’ve found Alicia by now if she was still alive, but no. All of that said, this is the same franchise that saw Glenn (Steven Yeun) survive a massive walker attack by hiding under a dumpster, so anything is possible. There’s no doubt fans will rejoice if they see Madison in a Tales of The Walking Dead episode.
