Dune, the new adaptation of Frank Herbert’s iconic 1965 novel, is finally out! And not only that, but there are several ways to watch it. Let’s find out what they are.

You can watch Dune in theaters

The most obvious way to watch Dune is to go to the nearest movie theater, buy a ticket and go to town. Make sure you bring plenty of Milk Duds and popcorn to Arrakis.

That said, plenty of people are still wary of going to movie theaters because of the pandemic. But if you’re not willing to do that, you have other options to watch what critics are calling a sci-fi masterpiece.

You can stream Dune on HBO Max

WarnerMedia knew people might be skittish about going to theaters this year, so it decided to release all of its movies simultaneously in theaters and on its HBO Max streaming service. So if you have an HBO Max subscription, you can watch Dune at home right now!

A normal HBO Max subscription costs $14.99 per month. There’s also a $9.99 version that comes with ads.

There’s one other method you can use to watch Dune, but it’s a bit dark-sided…

You can watch Dune by…other means

Look, we all know that you can watch a movie for free if you’re willing to pirate it, and Dune is no exception. Variety reports that high-quality copies of Dune — complete with subtitles in different languages — are being hosted on illegal streaming sites and spread around torrent sites. I’m not telling you to consider this option…but it’s there.
