Game of Thrones is a couple years gone, but the career of star Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) is on the rise. We already know she’ll be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Secret Invasion on Disney+. And now, Variety reports that she’ll be starring alongside Oscar nominee  Chiwetel Ejiofor in The Pod Generation, a romantic comedy with a science fiction edge.

Directed by Sophie Barthes, The Pod Generation tells the story of Rachel and Alvy, a New York couple who decide to start a family by using detachable artificial wombs — called pods — that allow them to share the burden of carrying a child to turn. Rachel gets access to the technology through her work, and while Alvy isn’t fully trusting of it, he decides to give it a go.

“Working with Emilia and Chiwetel as a couple on screen is a dream come true,” Barthes said. “Emilia’s versatility, her disarming sense of humor and capacity to navigate complex emotions are a perfect match to Chiwetel’s charisma and extraordinary screen presence.”

There’s no release date for The Pod Generation as of yet, but Clarke’s bubbly energy makes her a natural fit for a romcom, with or without high-tech wombs.

Game of Thrones stars party with Emilia Clarke on her 35th birthday!

In other Emilia Clarke news, the actor turned 35 this past Saturday, and it looks like she had a splendid time. Tell me she doesn’t look like she’s having the time of her life at this Studio 54-themed bash:

And if you click through a couple of images, you’ll see that one of Clarke’s old Game of Thrones buddies came by to wish her a happy birthday: Iain Glen, who played Daenerys’ faithful retainer Jorah Mormont! Jason Momoa (who goes by prideofgypsies on Instagram) also left his best wishes. “happy birthday love sorry i missed it. ❤️❤️❤️”

Warms the heart all over.
