Today on Take the Black, we give our takes on Dune and Eternals (we loved one, the other not so much) and break down the new Wheel of Time trailer.

Sometimes on Take the Black, our weekly chat show about the world of movies, TV, sci-fi and fantasy, nothing much happens. This is not one of those times. On today’s new episode, we review two major movie releases: Dune, which finally came out in theaters and on HBO Max this past weekend; and Eternals, the new Marvel tentpole movie hitting theaters next weekend.

We loved one and didn’t so much love the other — but which is which? Watch below to find out. And beware SPOILERS for both movies!

And as if that wasn’t enough to take up our time, we also dive into the new trailer for The Wheel of Time, as well as give our quick takes on several other smaller news items. Never a dull moment around here!

The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

We stream new episodes of Take the Black live every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on the Winter Is Coming Facebook and YouTube pages. Join the discussion!
