See gorgeous character posters for The Wheel of Time

Moiraine! Rand al’Thor! Mat Cauthon! Amazon trots out beautiful character posters from The Wheel of Time, which debuts in less than a month!

When it rains, it pours; just as Netflix released a trailer for the second season of The Witcher, Amazon dropped a bunch of splashy new character posters for The Wheel of Time, its adaptation of Robert Jordan’s 14-book strong epic fantasy series. The cast is huge, so best get to know it now!

Moirtaine (Rosamund Pike) and Lan (Daniel Henney) are a team: she’s a powerful Aes Sedai sorceress, and he her dedicated protecter, known as a Warder. The story really gets going when this pair comes to the sleepy Two Rivers region on the hunt for the Dragon Reborn. Might it be one of this lot below?

We’ve got Zoë Robins as Nynaeve, Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, Madeleine Madden as Egwene, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin, and Barney as Mat (at least until he’s replaced in season 2). These five are all living a quiet rural life when Moiraine and Lan sweep in and change things forever.

And this is just a small fraction of the characters on the show. Again, there are 14 books, so Amazon could employ half of Hollywood before it’s all wrapped up.

The Wheel of Time will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 19!
