Dwayne Johnson is currently starring alongside Gal Gadot in Red Notice, a crime thriller about an FBI profiler’s attempt to capture the “World’s greatest art thief.” And of course, DC fans are now thinking about what it would be like to see the comic books characters Johnson and Gadot play — Black Adam and Wonder Woman — crossover. It turns out The Rock has been thinking about this too.

Seeing Johnson and Gadot work together on the big screen has proven they have wonderful chemistry. Speaking to Variety, the producer of both Red Notice and Black Adam Hiram Garcia talked up a potential crossover. “We gotta see them together somehow,” he said. “To see Black Adam and Wonder Woman share the screen is going to be pretty awesome. I honestly feel like Wonder Woman is one of the few superheroes that can go toe-to-toe with Black Adam.”

It comes as no surprise that Johnson is down to do it, since he’s down to do pretty much anything. “I think there’s a crossover with Black Adam Wonder Woman,” he said.

In fact, Johnson went even further and brought their Red Notice costar Ryan Reynolds into the mix. Reynolds, of course, also plays the superhero Deadpool. That’s a Marvel hero, but nothing’s impossible when there’s a will, and Johnson wants to get the ball rolling:

"I turned to Ryan [Reynolds] and Gal [Gadot] and I said there should be a crossover between Marvel and the DC Universe. We can be the ones to possibly make it happen. So, we’ll see. We’ll see what happens."

Will it happen? Probably not, but that won’t us from imagining?

Who would win in a fight: Black Adam, Wonder Woman, or Deadpool?

Comic book fans love to pit superheroes against each other and decide who would win. And given that Red Notice features three actors who each play powerful heroes, naturally the question has come up. Speaking to ET Online, Ryan Reynolds laid out how he thought it would go:

"Black Adam, we don’t really know. We can’t rush to judgment before all the facts are in there. I guess that’s going to be a weird fight. I’m kind of unkillable. I don’t know what Wonder Woman’s status is there in the unkillable department — though she seems fairly unkillable. Dwayne’s gonna go just right away with Black Adam, I think. Gal’s gonna have a little humility about it and say Wonder Woman or probably Black Adam, and I’m just gonna go with Wonder Woman."

Red Notice is currently in theaters and drops on Netflix on November 12. Black Adam is slated to premiere in July 2022. Meanwhile, Patty Jenkins will return to direct a third Wonder Woman movie, which is currently in development.
