As usual, the Game of Thrones cast members are all up all manner of stuff, both personal and professional. Let’s check in with a few of them.
First up is Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), who attended the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference along with several other young activists. If you want to learn how to help the cause of fighting climate change, head here.
regardless of the outcome of the next two weeks, I have a lot of hope for the future and we simply have no other option than to keep fighting 🤍🌱 https://t.co/PXRReXIeBa

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) is also involved in climate change activism as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. Maybe these two will join forces sometime.
Nathalie Emmanuel and Gemma Whelan find success onscreen
In more traditional news, the new movie Army of Thieves — a prequel to Zack Snyder’s Netflix hit Army of the Dead — has been a huge success. That’s great for Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), who plays jewel thief Gwendoline Starr.
Wooow!! This is amazing 🥺 Thank you to everyone who watched and supported #ArmyofThieves on @Netflix… I hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed making it! So proud of everyone involved ❤️ pic.twitter.com/uZHvZHL6t9

Missandei never got to break out moves like this on Game of Thrones:

Finally, Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) has a new series on ITV: The Tower, where she plays a no-nonsense police detective named Sarah Collins.
My latest series THE TOWER, a drama starring @WhelanGemma, is coming to @ITV next week!

It was so fantastic to work with Patrick Harbinson, Jim Loach, Damien Timmer, and Paul Testar, and thanks as always to my team #Soundology, Javier Blanco-Lago for the hard work and support! pic.twitter.com/qCDth0jGYw
The reviews for The Tower have been very good, both for the show in general and for Whelan’s performance in particular. Chalk up a win for Yara!
