Maisie Williams attends UN Climate Change Conference, and more stuff

As usual, the Game of Thrones cast members are all up all manner of stuff, both personal and professional. Let’s check in with a few of them.

First up is Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), who attended the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference along with several other young activists. If you want to learn how to help the cause of fighting climate change, head here.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) is also involved in climate change activism as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. Maybe these two will join forces sometime.

Nathalie Emmanuel and Gemma Whelan find success onscreen

In more traditional news, the new movie Army of Thieves — a prequel to Zack Snyder’s Netflix hit Army of the Dead — has been a huge success. That’s great for Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), who plays jewel thief Gwendoline Starr.

Missandei never got to break out moves like this on Game of Thrones:

Finally, Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) has a new series on ITV: The Tower, where she plays a no-nonsense police detective named Sarah Collins.

The reviews for The Tower have been very good, both for the show in general and for Whelan’s performance in particular. Chalk up a win for Yara!
