Next week, Netflix is hosting a roast of musical Jonas Brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin. It’s the Jonas Brothers Family Roast, and it drops on Tuesday, November 23.
The brothers will be roasted by the likes of Kenan Thompson, Pete Davidson, Lilly Singh and more, professional comedians all. But the guys’ partners will also get in on the act, including Joe’s wife Sophie Turner, aka Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones. And apparently, Turner went in.
“Sophie was absolutely ruthless in her mockery of Joe, Nick and Kevin,” a source told The Sun. “She had everyone cracking up on set. She worked with professionals to make it as funny as possible and she really left no stone unturned.”
"Sophie joked about Joe’s height, his long list of celebrity exes and the purity rings which he and his brothers wore as teenagers to signify their virginity. It was hysterical to watch but some of it was so filthy that it will probably have to be edited out. She really went in on them."
This roast wasn’t really on my radar before but that does sound intriguing. And apparently Turner made an impression on her fellow roasters, who “were so impressed they told her she genuinely has the chops to get into comedy or take on some funny roles. The show was for the Jonas brothers but it could actually open doors for her.”
Ed Sheeran references his Game of Thrones cameo in Red Notice
And as long as we’re talking about Game of Thrones celebrity stuff, did you know that singer Ed Sheeran appears alongside the Rock and Gal Gadot in the new Netflix movie Red Notice, and that he references his infamous Game of Thrones cameo? In the movie, he’s performing at a wedding when Interpol agents arrests them. When telling them that he’s Ed Sheeran doesn’t get him off the hook, he protests that he was on Game of Thrones as they drag him away.
That guy does like making cameos, doesn’t he?
