See new images from The Wheel of Time Episode 4, “The Dragon Reborn”

The Wheel of Time spins on with “The Dragon Reborn” this Friday. Check out a bunch of high-quality new images from the fourth episode.
Amazon dropped the first three episodes of The Wheel of Time, it’s adaptation of Robert Jordan’s 14-book-long fantasy epic, this last Friday, and it sounds like the show is a hit. The good times continue to roll later this week with Episode 4, “The Dragon Reborn,” and Amazon has just released a bevy of new images.
The third episode, “A Place of Safety” ended with Moiraine, Lan and Nynaeve finding a group of Aes Sedai sorceresses who had captured Logain Ablar, a man who can channel and had reclaimed himself the Dragon Reborn. The Red Ajah of the Aes Sedai, above, exist to hunt down such men before they can go mad and hurt people, although they have a reputation for going overboard.
The blonde Aes Sedai is Liandrin, who’s an important character in the novels.
Logain himself will get some attention in this episode. Clearly he’s not popular.
Rather than axe his face, Moiraine opts to talk to the False Dragon.
We’ll also meet more warders in Episode 4, including this friend of Lan’s.
He also gets to know Nynaeve a bit:
That said, as book-readers know, Nynaeve will stick pretty close to Lan.
Whatever they’re looking at can’t be good. It looks like we may have some kind of confrontation on our hands, as these images show:
So that’s a lot of time spent in the Aes Sedai camp with Moiraine, Lan, Nynaeve and Logain. But there are other plots afoot, like Perrin and Egwene’s continued travels with the pacifistic Tinkers:
And finally, there’s Rand and Mat, who are now traveling in the company of the gleeman Thom Merrilin. Mat’s looking…unwell:
