New pics from the next episode of The Wheel of Time, “Blood Calls Blood”

Rand, Mat and Moiraine all arrive in the Aes Sedai city of Tar Valon in new pictures from tomorrow’s episode of The Wheel of Time. Take a look!
The Wheel of Time isn’t just turning; it’s picking up speed. Amazon’s adaptation of Robert Jordan’s 14-book strong series seems to be gaining followers as it goes along. Can it keep up the pace with tomorrow’s new episode, “Blood Calls Blood”? Take a look at some of these new images and judge for yourself.
The last episode ended with a battle between a group of Aes Sedai and the army of Logain Ablar, a male channeler who our heroes only just barely defeated. This picture looks like the Aes Sedai mourning their dead.
The warders are licking their wounds, too. Here’s Lan comforting Stepin, who lost his Aes Sedai in the fight against Logain.
Unfortunately, fighting a common enemy isn’t likely to ease tensions between Moiraine and Liandrin. They’re both Aes Sedai, but they have very different goals.
As for Logain, the Aes Sedai box him up and take him to the city of Tar Valon, where they have their home base.
And Logain isn’t the only character to reach Tar Valon in this episode. It looks like Mat and Rand also arrive after being separated from the group a few episodes back.
Incidentally, in the books this section of the story happens in the city of Caemlyn, but it looks like the show has transplanted these events to Tar Valon.
Tar Valon is an important location in The Wheel of Time books, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the show represents it.
Finally, we check in with Perrin and Egwene, who are traveling with the pacifistic Tuatha’an people. Unfortunately, the entire group looks to be in danger after an encounter with the fanatical Children of the Light:
Now would be a good time to channel, Egwene.
The fifth episode of The Wheel of Time drops tomorrow on Amazon Prime Video!
