In what might be one of the worst-kept secrets in cinematic history, the upcoming movie Spider-Man: No Way Home will very likely feature the return of web-slingers Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who will fight alongside Tom Holland’s Peter Parker against a host of classic enemies. It’s all possible thanks to the multiverse having been blown wide open. With all these returning stars, No Way Home promises to be the Spidey movie to rule them all, and we can’t help but think about other actors who might want to return to their Marvel roles.

One such actress who’s very eager to get that all-important Marvel call is Kirsten Dunst, who played Peter Parker’s love interest Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, which began in 2001 and concluded in 2007 with Spider-Man 3. Of course, there are rumors circulating that she will make an appearance in No Way Home (at this point, who isn’t rumored?), and while she won’t speak about that directly, Dunst revealed her desire to get involved again. “I would do [another superhero movie],” she told Entertainment Weekly. “Everybody else is!”

"I wish they’d put me in another one. Like, old-girl Mary Jane — why not?"

Currently, the MJ in the MCU — Michelle Jones rather than Mary Jane — is played by Zendaya. MJ didn’t appear at all in Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man movies; in those films, his partner was Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), who was shockingly killed off in the final battle of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. “It seems like a lot of movies I do get remade,” Dunst said. “It’s like a running theme for me.”

It really is a running theme. Besides her role in the Spider-Man movies, several of Dunst’s other films have been remade. Look at the Little Women remake, for example, or AMC’s upcoming TV show based on Interview with the Vampire.

Check out these new Spider-Man: No Way Home posters!

Another day, another load of Spider-Man: No Way Home content. This time, a fan page on Twitter has shared a couple of new posters, and they look very nice. What’s particularly striking is a high-quality look at that black-and-gold suit, which was seen briefly in the trailer. What could it be used for? One theory suggests that it could be Peter’s regular suit turned inside out.

Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres exclusively in theaters on December 17.
