HBO Max is tugging at fans’ nostalgic heartstrings with a photo from Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, an upcoming special that will reunite the cast of the beloved Harry Potter film franchise, starting with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), and Emma Watson (Hermione). Check it out below:

Now in their 30s, these three will get back together on the old Harry Potter sets to talk about what it was like making the movies. A lot of the other stars are coming back, too, including Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Jason Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood). But let’s be honest: it wouldn’t have meant much if HBO Max hadn’t locked down the Big Three.

When does Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts air?

This Harry Potter reunion seems to follow the pattern established by Friends: The Reunion, which dropped on HBO Max earlier this year. Clearly that was a success, and I wouldn’t be surprised if WarnerMedia mounted several more of these; after some time has passed a Game of Thrones reunion show seems all but inevitable.

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts drops on HBO Max on New Year’s Day. Maybe they’ll use the opportunity to announce something new? You never know…
