Fear The Walking Dead is about to get really exciting with the return of Kim Dickens as Madison Clark. In season 4, Madison was presumed dead after she sacrificed herself and was cornered by a horde of zombies in a burning building. But we didn’t see a body, and in this world, until we see a body the character might as well be presumed alive. And that turned out to be the case with Madison, who will return in season 8.

Naturally, fans were celebrating on Twitter. But they’re not the only ones excited. Lennie James, who played Morgan Jones on both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, is also psyched. “I said this to Kim: it’s a tick on my bucket list that I get to work with her. When I came over from The Walking Dead, we didn’t get a chance to work together,” James said on the chat show Talking Dead. “Part of the thing I was excited about when coming over was working with Kim. I get to do that now, so I’m a happy fellow.”

The Walking Dead boss Scott M. Gimple can’t wait for Kim Dickins to return

The Walking Dead overboss Scott M. Gimple also said that they are “lucky” to have Dickins back: “Madison Clark is a foundational character to TWDU – heroic, complex, and every person who becomes a warrior and then a force of benevolence. Kim Dickens’ raw talent, strength, and brilliance will electrify TWDU once more and we couldn’t be luckier to have her back.”

Personally, I’ve been waiting years for this and am counting down the days until we see Madison Clark on our screens again.

Fear The Walking Dead returns for the second half of season 7 on AMC on April 17, 2022!
