In February, the Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge, Northern Ireland will open its doors to the public, letting fans feast their eyes and ears on sets, props, costumes and more; it’s the closest any of us will probably ever get to actually visiting Westeros.
The Studio Tour is sharing lots of advance looks at what fans can expect on its Twitter. Just look at some of the cool costumes and props we’ll get to see up close:

Barristan Selmy (Ian McElhinney) takes the Game of Thrones Studio Tour
But of course, Game of Thrones is nothing without the actors who actually used those props and stalked those sets. The organizers invited series star Ian McElhinney, who played the stalwart knight Ser Barristan Selmy, out early to see what the Studio Tour was all about:
We were delighted to welcome Ser Barristan Selmy, otherwise known as Ian McElhinney, to a sneak preview just 44 days before we open the doors to the world’s only permanent Game of Thrones Studio Tour on 4th February 2022. Of course, you shouldn’t go on the tour expecting to run into Jaime Lannister or anything, but I’m curious to see who they get for the grand opening!
The Game of Thrones Studio Tour doesn’t open until February 4, but you can buy advance tickets now on the official website.
