Welcome to Take the Black, the weekly chat show where we go over the latest and greatest news from the worlds of sci-fi, fantasy, movies and TV. This week I’m joined by FanSided’s own Sabrina Reed to discuss the new season of The Witcher on Netflix. It is a worthy successor to the first batch of episodes, does it come up short, or was this show never that great to begin with? What worked, what didn’t and where do we go from here?

We also get into the fervor around Spider-Man: No Way Home, share what we’re watching as we head into the holidays, and have one last WiC News Lightning Round to finish out the year strong!

The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

We stream new episodes of Take the Black every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on the Winter Is Coming Facebook and YouTube pages, although we’re taking next Wednesday — December 29 — off for the holidays. But we’ll be back with a new show on January 5, 2022! See you in the new year.

dark. Next. See (a tiny bit of) new footage from House of the Dragon
