Outlander fans, we are T-minus 3 weeks away from the Season 6 premiere! The Droughtlander is finally ending and it’s time to dive back into the world of time-traveling romance and hang out with our favorite families, the Frasers and the MacKenzies.

As the premiere approaches, Starz is giving fans sneak peeks at what’s to come. The latest clips shows Brianna Fraser (Sophie Skelton) and Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) talking about the looming American Revolutionary War.

Brianna and Roger are from the future, so they know what’s coming. The have a good attitude about whole situation, but time will tell if it dredges up some unresolved feelings down the road.

Outlander season 6 sneak peek previews the American Revolution

In the teaser, Roger expresses his disgust about how much tea is about to be spilled into the harbor, a reference to the Boston Tea Party. “Imagine how many good cuppas are going to be tossed into that bloody harbor.” He’s talking about all the tea that was dumped into the Boston Harbor by Americans fighting the British over “taxation without representation.”

Brianna playfully asks him whose side he is on, and he gently reminds her that both he and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) were on the losing side as far as actual history goes.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Outlander handles this topsy turvy role reversal for Roger and Claire. Certainly, Jamie (Sam Heughan) is feeling conflicted, as he gave his pledge to the British but is contending with the fact that his American daughter’s future is on the line.

This season is going to be wild, folks, and I can’t wait to see how it all goes down!
