Today is a day for trailers. Disney just dropped the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, which stars Ewan McGregor back in the title role. Perhaps to compete, Paramount+ has dropped the first teaser trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, its anthology show about the original crew of the Enterprise, from even before Star Trek: The Original series. Watch below:

Will that be enough to distract from Disney’s new space adventure? Probably not, but nice try. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds premieres on Paramount+ on May 5.

Watch the trailer for Bridgerton season 2

Moving on to something completely different, Netflix has dropped the trailer for the second season of Bridgerton, its smash hit adaptation of Julia Quinn’s novel series. The second season will adapt the second book, The Viscount Who Loved Me, and will trace Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s attempt to find love.

That means that season 1 breakout star Regé-Jean Page won’t be a part of things, but there’ll still be plenty of romance and intrigue afoot. Watch below:

Bridgerton season 2 drops on Netflix on March 25.

Watch the trailer for the dystopian show DMZ on HBO Max

More immediately, HBO Max put out a trailer for DMZ, its adaptation of the Vertigo comic book of the same name. It stars Rosario Dawson as a mother who must venture into the no man’s land of New York City — which is cut off from the rest of the country after it breaks out into a new Civil War — to find her son.

Watch the trailer below:

DMZ premieres on HBO Max on March 17.

Let’s end on something lighter: a very meta movie called The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent about Nicolas Cage — like, the actor, who is also the star — becoming friends with a super-rich criminal (Game of Thrones veteran Pedro Pascal) and getting swept up into a bizarre espionage plot.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent comes out on April 22. It’s gonna be an interesting year.
