Good news for fans of the Arrowverse and all things Greg Berlanti: per The A.V. Club, The CW has renewed just about every hit show they have. That includes The Flash, which will return for season 9. Riverdale is coming back for season 7 and Superman & Lois for season 3. The network also ordered new seasons of Kung FuNancy Drew and Walker. Even the network’s little-known non-scripted shows are coming back; that includes new seasons of Penn & Teller: Fool UsMasters of Illusions and World’s Funniest Animals.

One Arrowverse show that isn’t mentioned is Legends of Tomorrow, which wrapped up its seventh season earlier this month. For fans wondering if their favorite motley crew of CW superheroes will be returning for an eighth season, the signs aren’t good.

Also not mentioned are BatwomanNaomi and Stargirl. We’ll keep our ear to the ground about these shows.

Supernatural alum Misha Collins joins Gotham Knights as Two-Face

Whatever happens to those particular shows, The CW is still bearing down on all things DC. One of its new shows is Gotham Knights, about what happens after Batman is (seemingly) murdered, and for some reason the blame falls on the children of Gotham City’s most notorious villains. (It’s a CW show, so you know it’s going to be precocious teenagers.)

Now, Supernatural veteran Misha Collins (Castiel) has announced that he’s joining the cast of Gotham Knights as legendary Batman villain Two-Face, per SyFy Wire. “I’ve asked if my version of the character could be wearing a beige trench coat over the grey suit,” Collins quipped on Twitter, referencing what his Supernatural character wore day-in-day-out on that series. “I’m just not sure I’ll be comfortable in front of a camera without one.”

At the moment, we know The CW is going to make a Gotham Knights pilot, but we’re not sure if they’ll make the whole series.
