Right now, the Russian army is invading the sovereign state of Ukraine under orders from Vladimir Putin, who is waging an unjustifiable war that has already resulted in thousands of deaths and millions of people being displaced from their homes.

Many are doing what they can to support relief efforts in Ukraine. That includes Auction for Ukraine, which is trying to raise money to “provide emergency relief in Ukraine and neighboring countries. Your donations will help families living as refugees with food, water, hygiene items and other vital supplies.”

Many people are auctioning off precious items. That includes Game of Thrones star Kit Harington (Jon Snow), who is giving away a blanket he received as a wrap gift upon finishing filming on the series. The words “We will never see your like again” are inscribed in gold at the corner, along with the Game of Thrones logo. “It is exceptionally rare and very precious to me, but I couldn’t think of a better object that will hopefully fetch a good price at auction,” Harington wrote. “I will sign it with a fabric pen and therefore it really will be a unique collector’s item.”

It’s definitely good of Harington to do what he can to help all the refugees created by this war, which is continuing as we speak.

Bid on Kit Harington’s Game of Thrones wrap gift

At the moment that I’m writing this, the top bid for the blanket comes in at £950, which is around $1,252. It sounds like anyone in the world can bid on this item, although if you’re not in the UK there may be additional shipping costs. Delivery may take 8 to 10 weeks.

The Auction for Ukraine ends on Friday night, tomorrow. If you’re interested, you can bid on Harington’s Game of Thrones wrap gift here.
