It’s been a while now since Henry Cavill has appeared as Superman on the big screen, and while he may yet get back in the suit, we know that Warner Bros. is working on a number of other Superman projects, which could mean new actors playing the Man of Steel.

But who could on such an iconic role? While we wait for official casting announcements, fan artists are all over it.

Jamie Dornan as Superman

Jamie Dornan shot to fame as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, but he’s been in the news recently for his turn in the Academy Award-winning film Belfast. The artist @clements.ink imagined what the 39-year-old actor would look like as Superman. See the image here.

Dornan is still seen as something of a joke by people who don’t think much of the Fifty Shades movies. Then again, the Twilight movies also received their fair share of hate, but that didn’t stop star Robert Pattinson from becoming a killer Bruce Wayne in The Batman.

Michael B. Jordan as Superman

Next up, @valentinromeroart has imagined what Michael B. Jordan would look like as the Man of Tomorrow. See that image here.

WarnerMedia is working on a couple of projects that would involve casting an African American actor as Superman, one of which involves Michael B. Jordan as a producer. Surely it’s not that big of a stretch to get the actor himself into the suit?

WarnerMedia will announce a new Superman sooner or later. And some fan artist somewhere probably will have anticipated the choice, whoever it is.
