Next month, FX will air Pistol, a biographical drama about English punk band the Sex Pistols. It stars Anson Boon and Louis Partridge as frontmen Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious, but Game of Thrones fans will recognize another face in the crowd: Maisie Williams as punk icon Pamela Rooke, aka Jordan.
Jordan was a model and actress considered one of the pioneers of the punk aesthetic; in her case, she was known for her platinum blonde spiky hairdo and dark eye makeup. No one’s gonna forget you in that look.
All six episodes of Pistol will drop on FX on May 31.
Jason Momoa to write and star in drama about the colonization of Hawaii
In other Game of Thrones celebrity news, Deadline reports that Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) is going to write, produce and star in a new Apple TV+ show called Chief of War, about “epic and unprecedented telling of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view.” As Momoa was born on Hawaii and his father is a native Hawaiian, this sounds like a personal project for him.
Momoa also stars in the Apple TV+ drama See. Apparently that was a positive experience, cause here he is doubling down on the service. He also has Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom coming out in March of next year.
