Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are in final season of Better Call Saul

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will be in the final season of Better Call Saul. I repeat: Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will be reprising their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman for the final installment of Breaking Bad’s critically acclaimed spinoff.
I’m still trying to let this news sink in; it doesn’t feel real yet. I mean, I thought Cranston showing up for a cameo in 2019’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie was shocking enough, but this is just next level.
Per Variety, series producer and co-creator Peter Gould confirmed that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s return during a Better Call Saul panel at PaleyFest. The sixth and final season of Better Call Saul premieres in less than a week, so we won’t have to wait long to see what form this return takes. Consider me pumped.
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul return for Breaking Bad spinoff!
As for when the dynamic duo will be showing up in the series, it sounds like they’ll be making appearances throughout, but the specifics are unclear. Gould simply said this:
"I don’t want to spoil things for the audience. But I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah. How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season."
Did anyone else get chills?
Bob Odenkirk, aka the one and only Saul Goodman, tried to spill more details but was cut off by Gould. “If you can believe it, there’s more,” he began.
More?! I can’t handle the excitement; what more could there be? More cameos? The return of Krysten Ritter as Jane Margolis, perhaps?
Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will be in Better Call Saul season 6
I’m curious to see how they bring in Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, because Better Call Saul takes place years before Breaking Bad. Walter White and Jesse Pinkman have not even met yet, and Walter is definitely not the man he goes on to become. Does this mean we will get a “flash-forward” to a time when Walter, Jesse, and Saul had already met? Or will there be something completely bonkers that we can’t predict?
Anything is possible, and I can’t wait to see what these guys have in store. It’s been almost nine years since Breaking Bad concluded, so this reunion has been a long time coming.
Tune in to watch Better Call Saul’s final season starting April 18 on AMC!
