This Game of Thrones star has a voice role in Elden Ring

Between George R.R. Martin and Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), Elden Ring was snapping up Game of Thrones talent left and right
Elden Ring is the big video game of the moment. The latest epic made by FromSoftware, the game is a dark fantasy that tasks players with exploring the dangerous Lands Between, which are full of more monsters, soldiers and wicked gods than you can shake a +3 broadsword at.
For the story of Elden Ring, From recruited none other than Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, who helped fill out the lore behind the world. But as it ends up, he’s not the only GoT veteran involved. According to Wiki of Thrones, cast member Gemma Whelan, who played the Ironborn warrior Yara Greyjoy, also has a part in the game.
Specifically, Whelan plays Lady Tanith, who resides at the terrifying Volcano Manor. She has a whole quest line you can follow. Below, you can see her eating the corpse of the boss of that place after you kill him, because that’s the kind of game this is:
I haven’t gotten to Volcano Manor yet, although I like to think I would have recognized Whelan’s voice without the help. We’ll never know now…
Outside of Elden Ring, you can soon see Whelan (in live action this time) in the second season of the excellent period drama Gentleman Jack, which premieres on HBO on April 25.
