The Last Kingdom star Alexander Dreymon welcomes son

The Last Kingdom star Alexander Dreymon recently welcomed a son into the world alongside partner and Girls star Allison Williams.
The fifth and final season of The Last Kingdom dropped on Netflix in March, and it was a big hit. The show always had a fan base, but now that it’s wrapped up, more people than ever know the name of Uhtred son of Uhtred, played by German actor Alexander Dreymon.
And now, just as his celebrity is taking off, the 39-year-old actor has welcomed a son into the world with partner Allison Williams, who’s starred in stuff like HBO’s Girls and Get Out. (She’s also the daughter of MSNBC anchor Brian Williams, incidentally).
The NY Daily News reports that the pair welcomed their son into the world over the winter, but didn’t go around making a big thing about it in the media. A source said that they “are both private people individually, and they made the decision to keep this happy news to just a small circle of family and friends. But they’re over the moon.”
Dreymon and Williams have reportedly been seeing each other since late 2019, after meeting on the set of Horizon Line. “They haven’t been hiding or anything,” another source said. “They’ve just been doing their best to keep a low profile.”
Congrats to Dreymon and Williams! And although The Last Kingdom TV show may be over, fans will still get to see Dreymon play Uhtred one more time in an upcoming Netflix movie called Seven Kings Must Die. Double congrats!
