Disney is moving forward with is Percy Jackson series, casting the roles of Percy’s two best friends: Ron and Hermio…I mean Grover and Annabeth.

Disney+ is adapting Percy Jackson and the Olympians, a series of post-Harry Potter young adult fantasy books by Rick Riordan about a 12-year-old who finds out he’s the son of Poseidon and goes on a quest to retrieve a lightning bolt stolen from Zeus, the Greek god of thunder. It’s definitely a good fit for the family-friendly streaming service.

We already know that Walker Scobell, who played the younger version of Ryan Reynolds’ character in The Adam Project, will play Percy. Now, The Hollywood Reporter brings us the news that Disney has cast two young actors in the role of Percy’s best friends.

Aryan Simhadri will play Grover Underwood, a satyr (half human, half goat) disguised as a human child. He and Percy are best friends. Grover is empathetic, cautious and loyal.

Meanwhile, Leah Sava Jeffries will play Annabeth Chase, a daughter of Athena, the goddess of wisdom. The three of them spend a lot of time together at Camp Half-Blood, a kind of training facility for demigods.

So we have a male-male-female friend group of children who get to know each at a magic school; I told you it was post-Harry Potter.

There’s no release date for Percy Jackson and the Olympians as of yet.
