When will Doctor Strange 2 be on Disney Plus?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness came out in theaters on May 6. When can Marvel fans stream it at home on Disney+?

That depends on what Disney chooses to do, but we can make some educated guesses. In 2021, the studio gave a few films a 45-day window between when they released in theaters and when they were available to stream through Disney+. If it does the same thing for Doctor Strange 2, we could be watching it at home by June 20.

That said, movies like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals hit Disney+ 70 days after they arrived in theaters. If Disney goes that route, Doctor Strange 2 won’t arrive on streaming until August 4.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness running time

Doctor Strange 2 runs for 126 minutes, or two hours and six minutes. That’s pretty reasonable as far as modern superhero movies go. The Batman runs nearly three hours, so we thank Marvel for keeping things reasonable over in the MCU.

Whenever Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actually ends up arriving on streaming, if you can’t wait that long you can always go to the theater; the movie is playing just about everywhere right now; it nearly cracked the $500 million mark in its first weekend, so it’s safe to say this is another big success for Disney and Marvel Studios.
