The Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trail drags on. If you’re just joining us, the basic facts are these: Heard divorced Depp in 2016, also getting a restraining order against him. In 2018, Heard wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post where she talked about her experience with domestic abuse. She didn’t mention Depp by name, but he sued her for defamation, asking for $50 million in damages. She countersued for $100 million.

That drama has been playing out for weeks. Today marked the final day Heard was on the stand. She was being cross-examined by Depp’s attorneys. At the very end, after she was done being asked questions by her own attorney, Judge Penney Azcarate tells Heard that she is free to leave the stand. “Go and take a seat next to your attorney okay,” she says.

Instead, Heard walks straight out of the courtroom in a moment that quickly went viral online. Watch below:

Another moment that went viral involved Depp and his attorney hugging, apparently satisfied with how the case was going.

Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are done testifying personally, although there are remaining witnesses to be called.

Closing arguments are set to begin on May 27.
