The Star Wars Celebration is in full swing, but not every announcement is about that galaxy far, far away…although a whole lot of them are. Lucasfilm also debuted a trailer for Willow, an upcoming TV show that shares a name with the 1988 fantasy film directed by Ron Howard. That movie starred Warwick Davis as an aspiring sorcerer named Willow Ufgood, who got mixed up in a prophecy about a baby destined to become a queen.

Now, over 30 years later, Willow is back with a whole new band of adventurers. This time he’s part of a party assembled by a princess to rescue her twin brother. Watch below:

Willow comes out on Disney+ later this year

Willow fits neatly into Disney’s growing suite of nostalgia-baiting, family-friendly programming. And it does make some sense that the trailer would drop during the Star Wars celebration, since the original idea came from none other than George Lucas.

As for Warwick Davis, he’s appeared in lots of iconic supporting roles over the roles, from playing an Ewok in Return of the Jedi to Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter movies. It’s cool to see him get the spotlight.

Willow will premiere on Disney+ on November 30. That’s the TV show, not the movie; you can watch that right now.
