When do the final two episodes of Stranger Things 4 come out?
By WiC Staff
The fourth season of Stranger Things dropped on Netflix the other day, and you might have noticed something weird: there are only seven episodes. In the past, no season of Stranger Things has had less than nine episodes. Is Netflix holding out on us?
Well, not really, because the episodes are so long now that they just about equal the length of a normal season, if not exceed it. And there’s more to come. For the first time ever, Stranger Things is releasing its new season in parts: the first seven episodes are out as of this past Friday, May 27, and the final two will follow on Friday, July 1.
We had to wait years in between seasons 3 and 4, so another month doesn’t seem too bad. And this final drop has a surprise in store…
When does the rest of Stranger Things season 4 come out?
The eighth episode of Stranger Things season 4 will be about as long as the rest of the episodes. But the ninth and final one…whew…that one will be two-and-a-half hours long.
That’s insane. That’s not an episode of TV, that’s a movie…a long movie. As the streaming wars continue, the line between TV and cinema continues to blur.
After season 4 is over, we have one more season to go before the story of Stranger Things comes to a close for good.
