Disney struck gold with their Star Wars series The Mandalorian, and now they’re prepared to squeeze every bit of story out of it they can. Might there even be a Mandalorian movie in our future?

We’ve already seen plenty of Mando on our screens. Of course, we’ve had two seasons of the original show, plus the character played a large part in The Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian season 3 is on its way, while writer Jon Favreau has revealed that he’s in the process of writing season 4.

But with Disney, there’s always room for more. Speaking to Variety about a potential foray to the big screen, star Pedro Pascal sounded all in. “Don’t you think it’s inevitable?” he asked. “I, personally, I have no, truly, I have no idea, but that would be a dream come true. Not that any more dreams could possibly come true! Maybe I’ve had my fill.”

"I love going to the movies. Going back and just being able to be with an audience again is one of the most important things to me. If that happens with The Mandalorian, all I can say is…please!"

The Mandalorian’s armor fits Pedro Pascal “like a glove”

Pascal sounds like he’s having the time of his life with this role. Even the heavy armor isn’t getting in the way of his good mood. “Honestly, the moment when I put on the Mandalorian’s helmet is indescribable,” he said. “It sits like a glove, as if it were, like the armor, a part of me. It is not difficult for me to move in it and hardly restricts me.”

Okay, maybe he has one criticism: “Only my facial expressions suffer a little from the costume.” That can’t be helped, however, since Din Djarin wears his helmet pretty much 24/7 in adherence to the Mandalorian code. He’s only removed it on very rare occasions.

Will there be a Mandalorian movie? Let’s hope Disney listens to Pascal’s plea. In the meantime, we’ll wait for season 3 of the show in February of next year.
