HBO is gearing up the marketing machine for House of the Dragon, its follow-up to Game of Thrones. We got a spiffy new poster the other day, along with a huge drop of merch on the WB Shop. We’re talking tee-shirts, we’re talking tote bags, we’re talking mugs with dragons on them.

Take a look at a smattering of stuff below, starting with the ever-reliable tee-shirt:

But if tee-shirts aren’t your thing, sweatshirts are also available. “Dreams didn’t make us kings, dragons did.” They’re leaning into that slogan.

This jacket is my favorite thing from the collection. It’s summer right now but I kind of wish it were autumn so I could wear it:

But clothes aren’t all that are on offer. How about this Targaryen fleece blanket?

You need something to carry around your stuff and remind people that you will take what is yours with fire and blood? Consider this tote bag:

And of course, what would a merch drop be without some mugs?

You can find all this merch and more at the WB Shop!

House of the Dragon wines are coming

There was quite a lot of Game of Thrones-themed booze out there back in the day. Considering how much the characters drink, it made sense. House of the Dragon will keep up that tradition with a line of wines from Vintage Wine Estates, Inc. and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

At the moment, there’s an Oregon Pinot Noir, a proprietary red blend from the Lodi appellation in California, and a Cabernet Sauvignon from California. To your health.

House of the Dragon premieres on HBO and HBO Max on August 21.

Next. Emilia Clarke says the Jon Snow show was “created by Kit Harington”. dark
