Stark father in Game of Thrones crossword
By WiC Staff
“Stark father in Game of Thrones.” Come across this clue in a crossword puzzle? How about “Arya Stark father”? There’s only one man it could be. Ned Stark.
Possibly just “Ned.” And his full name is “Eddard Stark,” so try “Eddard” if there are six boxes to fill.
Ned Stark as played by Sean Bean on Game of Thrones. He was only around for one season — he famously got beheaded in the ninth episode of the show — but he was one of the breakout characters from the series, to the point where his name still appears in crossword puzzles to this day.
Who is Arya Stark father?
Perhaps the reason Ned Stark became such a well-known character is because his death was so unexpected. We’re used to movies and TV shows going a certain way; the good-hearted, steadfast character played by a famous actor might struggle, but eventually he comes out the other side all right. Ned Stark certainly struggled — against the members of the Small Council, against the queen, against his own friend King Robert — but at the moment of truth, no one swooped in to save him, and Joffrey Baratheon had his head cut off.
That said, there are other characters who could lay claim to the title of “best known character from Game of Thrones.” Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister and Arya Stark all have a of walking away with that title, but that’s another crossword clue.
