The final two episodes of Stranger Things season 4 have dropped on Netflix, and we’re starting to get answers to the questions posed in the first seven.

One of the first involves Will’s painting, the one we saw that he’d made in the season premiere. We’ve been waiting all season to see what he did, and now we finally know. The results are very Will.

Will did a rendering of the D&D party he was a part of with Mike, Lucas and Dustin. It’s pretty good! He painted all of their characters fighting a dragon, and singled out Will as the leader. Showing Will the painting comforted him at a time when Will was feeling insecure.

What’s in Will’s painting in Stranger Things season 4

Will was always especially attached to the Dungeons and Dragons group. Even when his friends were pulling away from it in season 3, he wanted to keep going. That hasn’t abated, but now his friends seem more open to it.

Will is also especially attached to Mike. He’s clearly been going through something this season, but we haven’t gotten a ton of quality time with him. That will likely change in these final two episodes.

You can watch the whole of Stranger Things season 4 on Netflix now.
