Gwendoline Christie reacts to her depiction on Family Guy, and other stuff

Family Guy has been running for 21 seasons now, and by this point they’ve referenced just about every piece of pop culture there is. Earlier this year, they had a whole episode dedicated to parodying HBO series, including Game of Thrones, Succession and Big Little Lies. Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth, showed up in animated form for the occasion…although weirdly it was in the Succession section, not the Game of Thrones one.

Christie saw the bit and reacted about how you’d expect. “Thank you, I think?”

As long as we’re talking about what Game of Thrones cast members are up to, the clock is ticking if you want to see Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) on the stage in a production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London. The show runs through September 10. Clarke recently posted a picture of herself with the cast:

If the movies are more your thing, John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) has a new one out in British cinemas right now: The Railway Children Return, a sequel to the 1970 film The Railway Children. It’s been a while:
