Charlie Cox will return as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, in She-Hulk on Disney+! And it looks like he’s gotten a bit of a makeover. Disney recently dropped a brief new teaser for the show; Daredevil shows up around the 0:24 mark. See for yourself:

In the briefest of shots, we see Daredevil decked out in a yellow costume, standing in the street lit from behind by a pair of headlights.

That’s interesting, because in the Netflix show, when he was on his superhero beat, Matt Murdock always wore either a plain black outfit or the red-and-black suit most commonly associated with the character. Daredevil has worn a yellow version of his suit in the comics, most notably in his debut issue in 1964 and again in 2001’s Daredevil: Yellow, a miniseries about his early days as a crime fighter.

Is it the same Matt Murdock in Daredevil and She-Hulk?

So does that mean that the Daredevil we meet in She-Hulk will just be starting out on his superhero career, or is he donning the suit for another reason? We’re still not sure if the Matt Murdock in She-Hulk is the same Matt Murdock from Netflix’s Daredevil show, or if he’s a new version of the character who just happens to be played again by Charlie Cox. We’ll find out soon enough, though; She-Hulk premieres on Disney+ on August 18.

And of course, Daredevil is just a small part of the show. It revolves around Jennifer Walters, who by day represents superhero clients as a lawyer in court, and by night acts as a superhero herself. Matt Murdock is also a lawyer, so it makes sense that he and Jennifer might cross paths, whether in court or while fighting crime.
