Universal’s Jurassic World: Dominion is slated to come out on DVD and Blu-Ray next week, and it’s bringing with it a nice surprise: the physical release of the movie will contain an extra 14 minutes of dinosaur mayhem.

The movie was originally released in theaters in early June with a runtime of two hours and 26 minutes, the longest of any film in the Jurassic franchise. The Jurassic World: Dominion Extended Edition Blu-Ray runtime will be 2 hours and 40 minutes, meaning you get even more dino for your dollar.

As for what’s being included in the extended edition, perhaps the most exciting bit is that it will have the film’s original prologue. The short sequence shows dinosaurs back in their own time prehistoric time period before cutting forward to the modern day. While it was used to tease the movie, it was ultimately cut from the theatrical release because of concerns about length. (I am still salty to this day that I saw this movie at a drive-in, and the scene of the T-Rex rampaging through a drive-in theater that appeared in the prologue tease was cut.)

Jurassic World: Dominion Extended Edition includes the cut prologue!

Notably, the prologue is only around five minutes and 30 seconds, meaning there’s still quite a bit more extra footage beyond that. The Blu-Ray will also include the short film Battle at Big Rock, which takes place a year before the events of Jurassic World: Dominion and was also directed by Colin Trevorrow. Like the prologue, Battle at Big Rock is something that Universal released ahead of time to build hype for Dominion. You can watch it right now on YouTube:

While Battle at Big Rock was briefly mentioned in Dominion, it’s not an integral part of the main events but a cool little side story to show how the dinosaur repopulation of the Earth is causing problems for the humans who already live on it.

Jurassic World: Dominion Extended Edition will also include more than 45 minutes of behind-the-scenes featurettes, as well as both the extended and theatrical versions of the film. Having seen the prologue and Big Rock already, I will say that if you even remotely enjoyed Jurassic World: Dominion, this extended edition is almost certainly going to end up being the definitive way to watch the movie. Just those alone add enough to the experience to be worth it; with the other nine+ minutes of extra footage teased to be in the film, who knows what else awaits?

Jurassic World: Dominion Extended Edition comes out on August 16.
