Fire will reign in one last teaser trailer for House of the Dragon

After three years of waiting, we’re finally heading back to Westeros. HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon premieres on Sunday, and the network has done a great job of getting people hyped. A couple days out, they released one last teaser trailer with some interesting new footage. Check it out below:

There’s a lotta dragons and a lot of war in this teaser trailer. Like Game of Thrones, much of House of the Dragon will be about people plotting in magnificently apportioned rooms, but there will be plenty of action as well, so why not highlight it?

There are a lotta dragons in House of the Dragon and it looks like they may steal the show. Do not mess with Caraxes, a dragon ridden by the mercurial Daemon Targaryen:

Then there’s Vhagar, the biggest and oldest dragon around at this point in Westerosi history. Not the holes in her wings. She’s seen an awful lot of battle over her centuries-long life, and she’ll see more before House of the Dragon is through.

Some dragons we’re not sure about yet. Who is this smaller guy being escorted by guards?

Of course, it’s not all about flying, fire-breathing lizards. Expect some Renn Faire fun at the joust:

Some of these photos look pretty dark; however, I have noticed that they look brighter on TV than on my laptop, and that the trailer looks brighter on my laptop than when I screencap it and reproduce the pictures here.
