Megan Thee Stallion’s cameo on She-Hulk alongside Tatiana Maslany was everything we never knew we wanted. If Marvel brought her back for more, none of us would complain. Even Megan Thee Stallion is open to the idea, according to her recent Instagram post: “Shooting this was a BLAST thank you @shehulkofficial @marvel for asking me to be apart. Im gonna manifest I get to do moreeeeee.”
We are manifesting it too!
Megan Thee Stallion wins over She-Hulk fans and cast
If you are wondering how the “Savage” rapper made it onto She-Hulk, then you can thank Jameela Jamil, who plays the villain Titania. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jamil revealed that she and Megan Thee Stallion became friends while working on season 2 of HBO’s Legendary.
“I just asked her and she turned out to be a huge Marvel fan,” Jamil said. “I just had a feeling she’d be a great actor because she’s good at everything, and she absolutely smashed it. I could not have been prouder or more in awe of her and she brings out something in Tatiana that no one has ever seen before —Tatiana has moves. It’s ridiculous.”
It was a fun surprise to see Maslany and Megan Thee Stallion twerking in the post-credit scene. Maslany is a super fan of hers, so getting the opportunity to act and dance with her was a dream come true.
“That was like the highlight of my life,” Maslany told Variety. “When Jess was like, ‘We’re writing you a scene where you’re dancing with her,’ I basically died. Like, I fell off the planet. I fixated on that moment for two weeks, and I couldn’t talk to her. I didn’t know how to be around her.”
She-Hulk airs new episodes on Disney+ every Thursday.
