Rosario Dawson, who played Claire Temple in Netflix’s Daredevil, is interested in returning to the MCU. And there IS that new Daredevil show in the works…

Speaking with interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actor Rosario Dawson expressed her excitement for the upcoming Daredevil TV show, Daredevil: Born Again.

"Yeah, I’d be super curious, but I’m just so stoked for everybody though. It’s been a long time coming. I was really excited to know that all of our shows are actually part of the MCU now, with Charlie and Vincent coming over into these different projects now. So year, 18 episodes? I’m there! Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, they know where I am."

Dawson appeared as Claire Temple (Night Nurse) in several of the Marvel TV shows developed by Netflix, including Daredevil, Luke Cage, and The Defenders. Until recently, it was unclear if these shows were MCU canon as all of them were canceled abruptly back in 2018, and none of their characters were mentioned in other MCU projects…

That is until Charlie Cox’s Daredevil appeared in Spider Man: No Way Home in 2021. Following that surprise appearance, Disney announced Daredevil: Born Again at San Diego Comic Con in July, with Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returning to reprise their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin respectively. Cox will also show up as Daredevil in She-Hulk, which is airing on Disney+ right now.

So far, these are the only two actors confirmed to reprise their roles. The fate of Daredevil regulars like Karen Page and Foggy Nelson remain unknown, not to mention Dawson’s character.

Daredevil: Born Again is due out in spring 2024. Disney ordered 18 episodes for the first season. As for Dawson, she’s currently filming the first season of the Ahsoka TV show, which is set to premiere in March of 2023.
