Pedro Pascal recently starred alongside Nicolas Cage in the hilarious buddy comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. This star pairing was everything we didn’t know we wanted. And now, Pascal is now advocating for Cage to join the Star Wars cinematic universe.

While at Disney’s D23 Expo this past weekend in Anaheim, Pascal shared with Yahoo! Entertainment how he’s been working behind the scenes to get Cage into Star Wars. “I already suggested . I already said he would make a great Mandalorian,” Pascal said.

Honestly, I’m here for this!  Could you imagine the Nicolas Cage donning the Mando suit and jetpacking around with Din Djarin? Can someone please make this happen?

The Mandalorian producer Rick Famuyiwa had an important question about this scenario: “But would he wear a helmet or not?” Pascal didn’t seem committed one way or the other. As long as Nicolas Cage appears on the show, we’ll be happy, helmet or no.

Based on the trailer, it looks like things will get chaotic in the upcoming third season of The Mandalorian. According to Katee Sackhoff, who will return as Bo-Katan Kryze, “this season is different” and “a little faster-paced.” It’s a train ride that fans will have to jump on and join. Brace yourselves: it’s going to be fun!

There’s no exact release date for season 3 yet, although we know it’s coming sometime next year. And who knows, maybe Pedro Pascal’s dream of seeing Nicolas Cage in the Star Wars cinematic universe just might come true. Wouldn’t that be absolutely glorious?
