Rihanna’s lingerie brand supports the greens on House of the Dragon

Savage X Fenty is a lingerie brand started by pop music superstar Rihanna that emphasizes confidence and inclusivity and is designed for people of all genders, sizes, and backgrounds. House of the Dragon is an HBO show where two rival factions of the Targaryen dynasty vie for the Iron Throne. Now these two things have come together, as was always destined to happen.

The two sides in House of the Dragon are known as the greens (led by the king’s wife Alicent HIghtower) and the blacks (led by the king’s daughter Rhaenyra Targaryen). Savage X Fenty announced its allegiance on Twitter, declaring for Alicent and her greens:

I assume Hanes will declare for the blacks? This war will surely divide the underwear world.

Okay, so Savage X Fenty didn’t just randomly declare for the greens out of nowhere, as funny as it is to think of Rihanna watching House of the Dragon, getting really into it and insisting that her lingerie brand support one faction over the other. Olivia Cooke, who plays the older Alicent Hightower we met a couple episodes back, recently posed for Savage X Fenty. The tweet was promoting her spread.

…or Rihanna is deeply invested in the battle for the Iron Throne and is picking sides. Look, that’s the reality that’s more entertaining so that’s where I’m choosing to live.
