Fans fell in love with Joseph Quinn as Eddie Munson on Stranger Things. It looks like he’s lined up his next big gig, in another horror franchise.

Joseph Quinn shot to fame earlier this year after playing the hard-rocking super-senior Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Stranger Things. Without spoiling too much, he prooooobably won’t be back for season 5, but the world definitely wants more of him. And Hollywood is happy to give it.

Deadline reports that Quinn is in negotiations to join the cast of A Quiet Place: Day One, a spinoff of the first two A Quiet Place movies directed by and starring John Krasinski. Day One is based on an idea from Krasinski, but he won’t be directing, nor are he or Emily Blunt expect to show up. Krasinski is currently busy planning the proper third movie in the franchise, for the record.

What is Day One about? Well, if I had to hazard a guess, probably the beginnings of the monster apocalypse we saw in the first two movies, when the world was overrun by terrifying creatures who hate noise of any kind. A Quiet Place: Day One is due out on March 8, 2024.

If cast, Quinn will act opposite Lupita Nyong’o, who’s fresh off a role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Quinn is playing in the big leagues now.
